“If Only I’d Known …”

by Mike Gamble

Nothing can fully prepare you for the overwhelming experience of caring for your elderly loved one.

Obviously, you are involved because they can’t do everything they need to do to live independently. Whatever the situation, you are now responsible for caring for them. But, like most people, you aren’t sure of your next step, or even your first step.

Our goal is to provide you with the information and support you need to care for your loved one — so that you can enjoy your time together more, be more confident and worry less.

To see what matters to most people, simply click on an image below.

Whether you are in the middle of a crisis and decisions have to be made quickly, or planning ahead because of unsettling warning signs, we can help you find the answers you need.

A regular visitor offered the following advice to new visitors:

“Welcome to this place, where you can say what you need to, and learn from others’ mistakes and get help and in turn help someone else. There is so much wisdom here, and care and kindness, it is what we all need to get through all the things we must. …”
